I remember I was a small child when my mom and dad took me to a music teacher holding my hands. First day my guru taught me sa pa sa pa sa. A box was there and it constantly produced sound. After this he told me i m gonna teach you sarali varisai. He asked me to repeat it. I did it. My first lesson was sa re ga ma pa da ne sa, sa ne da pa ma ga re sa. Right from that day i started loving music. Till today i m learning and enjoying it. Whenever i sing i feel like nothing in this world can bring happiness. I sing everyday. I practise everyday with sruthi box. Music is an incident in my life. Being a bharathanatyam dancer, my guru suggested me to learn vocal and some instrument so that i l be able to catch talas easily. I started learning vocal, veena and keyboard. Dance is my passion, Music is my breathe. It has been a great desire for me to start a website or a blog to share what i know (a little offcourse!!!).Great saints like thayagaraja, muthisami dikshitar, dayananda saraswathi, oothukadu venkata subbiyar, papanasam sivan had done so many renditions. In every song i feel divinity. In every word i see God. In every raga i feel peace. I sincerely pay my namaskaras to all those great saints.
Journey continues......

Thats great. I too wanted to learn music but could not. Now I am trying my best to spend time on the various aspects of raga & play bit of keyboard. But still I am missing a formal training
